LSAR Laboratory
“Migration Studies” program was established on the basis of Laboratory for Social and Anthropological Research (LSAR) with the participation of various structural units of the university, with the possibility of training abroad, as well as internships in partner organizations.
Due to LSAR our students have a unique opportunity to participate in research laboratories, conduct their own research, and complete internship in the laboratory.
LSAR was established in 2013 as a part of the project “Man in a Changing World. Problems of identity and social adaptation in history and modern times” (Governmental Grant of the Russian Federation No. 14.B25.31.0009). Its formation was the logical result of longstanding work of historians and ethnologists of TSU for history, ethnography, ethnology, anthropology, archeology development.
Head of the Laboratory is Iraida Vladimirovna Nam, Professor of the Department of Anthropology and Ethnology, Professor of the Department of Russian History at the FIPN, TSU, Doctor of Historical Sciences.
